Our History
Hermes-Jordian Holdings LLC was founded with a clear thesis: that the most compelling real estate opportunities exist at the convergence of global capital flows, demographic shifts, and undervalued urban corridors. From our earliest acquisitions in gateway cities across the Americas, we have steadily expanded our footprint to encompass four continents and eighteen distinct markets.
Each decade has brought new cycles, new geographies, and new asset classes — but our approach has remained constant. We move deliberately, underwrite rigorously, and hold with conviction. Marcus J. Hermes
Founder & Managing Principal
Marcus founded the firm in 2001 following a distinguished career in institutional real estate at Goldman Sachs and Blackstone. He oversees global strategy, investor relations, and all major acquisition decisions. He holds an MBA from Wharton and a BA in Economics from Yale.
Elara Jordian
Co-Founder & Chief Investment Officer
Elara leads the firm's investment committee and global underwriting platform. Prior to co-founding the firm, she served as Head of International Real Estate at a sovereign wealth fund, managing a $4B portfolio across Europe and Asia. She holds a Master's in Real Estate Finance from Cambridge.
David Osei-Mensah
Managing Director, Asia-Pacific & Middle East
David oversees the firm's operations across Singapore, Tokyo, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi. He brings 18 years of experience in cross-border real estate transactions and has structured over $1.2B in acquisitions across the Asia-Pacific region.
